What you lose by holding back and avoiding uncertainty is life, the chance to soak up the moment. You can feel moments you choose not to absorb reluctantly slip by as you freeze in torn emotion. Part of you desperately wanting to step into the moment while the other half of your mind panics at the behavior of taking a risk. When life is uncertain there are endless possibilities to be discovered. This is a good thing.
Slither into uncertainty, make it your comfort zone, own it. Taking chances will make you feel alive. Everything doesn’t have to be rigid, stone cold and planned. Get sloppy, get dirty, be carefree when you can. Losing yourself is revitalizing, I highly recommend you find a way to realize comfort in uncertainty. Those who are willing to consume life to the core will have more options to maneuver through life. You don’t have to go batshit crazy and wind up regretting your actions. I’m advocating that you open doors that have been closed off by you due to fear. Walk through those doors, expand your involvement in life.
It is healthy to occasionally get off the path and hop on a roller-coaster. The ups and downs of uncertainty are a part of living. Live fully, be willing to lose yourself when you need to. No exceptions, no excuses, no regrets. Overcome the ape.
