Hi.

Hello, my name is Joshua Moore. Welcome to my blog. I write about life and its grind. Hope you find inspiration here as you overcome the ape.

Time

Time

Whatever concept of time you live by, your physical time alive is limited.  What you accomplish for yourself, family, friends or humanity is dependent on how you use your time.  Passions, musings, and goals happen for individuals who focus on creating the time needed to realize their plans.  Look around – the non-profits, businesses or passion projects that seem to materialize out of nowhere came from blood, sweat, and tears.  It may appear as if an overnight success has transpired but I promise you, behind the facade of the effortless success lies determination, grit, desire, massive action and time.

Successful endeavors are not accomplished when you feel inspired or have the energy or feel good.  Successful endeavors are accomplished by using and capitalizing on time.  If you are planning on starting an idea, what’s keeping you from action now?  It’s often the mundane effort it takes to actually move an idea forward that thwarts the excitement of an end goal.  Get up, wipe yourself off and go!  Tomorrow has no guarantees for any of us.  Waiting is your brain feeling content for satisfying your need to feel like you are doing something while doing nothing.  Get to action as soon as humanly possible and continue the work over years or decades.  If you do this, your destination in life is more likely to be somewhere you are satisfied with.  There are no guarantees of success, exhausting your life to achieve your desires feels better than a life of not trying, period.

Start trying, start the physical and emotional battle of closing the gap on who you are versus who you want to be.  Maybe you never get there, not everyone does, every degree of failure to success exist in humanity.  Where will your degree of effort take you?  If you capitalize on your time, your effort will swing the pendulum of success in the direction you work for.  No exceptions, no excuses, no regrets.  Overcome the ape.
